Employers are asked to distribute this form to employees laid off because of the COVID-19 pandemic to expedite their claim process. 


On March 21, 2020, Chief Justice O'Connor provided guidance to lower courts in Ohio. Click here to read the Guidance to Local Courts. The Supreme Court has also set-up an online Resource Center with additional guidance and information.

GRANTS: Governor DeWine announced that $16 million in grant funding is available to local law enforcement agencies, probation/parole officers, local courts, victim services advocates, and corrections agencies.  These grants are administered through the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS) and the funding was made available in the CARES Act.  OCJS is currently accepting applications for these grants, which have no cap and require no local match.  There is no deadline to apply, but agencies are encouraged to apply before the funds are all spoken for.
