Not strictly a topic of law, I nevertheless find the mere existence of today’s Democratic presidential debate, with serious questions addressed to the candidates via YouTube video submissions, to be worthy of a little nod. Bringing the field of debate directly to the online community signals, to me, a profoundly positive shift in our nation’s political thinking and process.
