Yesterday, Shroma Hollywood Lang became the second man convicted under a new federal law, the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act, which prosecutes convicted sex offenders for failing to register as sex offenders when they move into a new area.

Lang, who fled Midwest City, OK, where he had taken up residence and was apprehended in Oklahoma City, now faces up to ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine for his crime.
